Grace Brooks

Grace Eleanor Brooks (nee McRae) 1926-2018 Peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in her 92ndyear. Grace Eleanor Brooks (nee McRae) beloved wife of the late Benjamin Donald (Ben) Brooks who predeceased Grace in 1982. Grace will be missed by her son Don and his wife Sally Brooks of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by her daughter Beverley Brooks in 2007 and by infant daughter Roberta. Beloved sister to Evelyn Brant of Arizona and Doug McRae of Edmonton, Alberta. Much loved grandmother to Jason & Eric of North Bay, Chris and Danny of Calgary and Adam of Sudbury. Great grandmother to Lincoln. Grace will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home for a memorial visitation on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 1:00 until 3:00 p. m. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p. m. If so desired, donations in memory of Grace may be directed to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
