It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Davis, age 66, who departed this life on November 3, 2024, in Kilworthy, Ontario. Glenn was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and who touched the lives of many with his kindness and sense of humor.
Glenn had a rich career as a Red Seal chef, a profession he embraced with passion and dedication. He later chose to step away from the culinary world to devote more time to his daughter, a decision that showcased his deep love and commitment to family. In those years, Glenn found joy in a new profession as a painter, allowing his creative spirit to flourish in new ways.
Glenn was a man of many interests. He possessed an infectious sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him. Fishing and playing darts were among his cherished pastimes, often enjoyed in the company of his dear friend Paul. Whether discussing his culinary adventures or sharing stories from his life, Glenn had a way of engaging others with warmth and sincerity.
Glenn is survived by his devoted wife, Clara Joyce; his treasured daughter, Susie Davis; and his loving grandchildren, Teegan Austin (Crystal Hilt) and Brittany Varcoe (Candice and Roxy). He also leaves behind his siblings, Dianne Davis (Craig Guest), Darlene Crowell, and William Davis, who will dearly miss him. He is predeceased by his brothers, Steven and Lawrence, and parents, Mary and Lawrence Sr. whose memories will forever be etched in the hearts of his family.
As we remember Glenn, we celebrate a life filled with love and laughter. His legacy of kindness, his passion for cooking, and his dedication to his family will remain in our hearts forever. Glenn Thomas Davis will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
