Pallister, Gladys Bernice Peacefully at Leisureworld Muskoka Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in her 76th year. Gladys Bernice Pallister (nee Barnes) beloved wife of the late Charlie Pallister. Dear mother to Roger (Mary Jane) Pallister of Bracebridge, Bernice Richard of Midhurst, Joy (Gordon) Merton, Jim Pallister, Lester (Carol) Pallister all of Gravenhurst. Beloved sister to Hazel Peacock, Almer, Stan, Ken and Donald Barnes. Gladys is predeceased by an infant daughter Doreen Pallister and by her infant sister Evelyn Barnes and by her siblings; Pearl Turner and Jack Barnes. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 12 noon until 1:00 p. m. A service to celebrate the life of Gladys Bernice Pallister will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 1:00 p. m. Cremation has taken place. In memory of Gladys, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka would be appreciated by the family.
