GABITOUS, Gladys Louise (Borneman) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 77. Gladys was the beloved wife of Gordon Gabitous. Loving mother of Kathy (Kevin), Lori (Bernard), Greg (Cindy), and Cindy. Cherished grandmother of Jake, Michael, Lisa (Joey), Joey, Jeremy, Jericho and Cassidy. Devoted great grandmother of Mia and Adria.
As a teen, Gladys was the Canadian Intermediate Bowling Champion and later also bowled with her son winning many trophies together. She loved camping and fishing and could fillet a fish faster than most. Gladys became manager of resident records at Muskoka Centre until it closed. She loved travelling and eventually found a place in Cuba that she and Gord vacationed at for many years. At home, she liked a certain room and it was hers for a long time. Gladys will be greatly missed by family and friends.
