Georgina Mabel McCoy

Passed away peacefully, on November 4, 2023, at the Huntsville Hospital at the age of 84.

Georgina was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Henry McCoy (2019). She leaves behind two sons, James "Rocky" Pukler and Julius Pukler (Sis). Her grandchildren Molly Shea, Jasmine Rouleau, and the late Jessica held a special place in her heart. She also leaves behind great-grandsons James and Isaiah.

Georgina was the dear sister of: Melva (Harry), Elizabeth (Walter), Catherine (John), Patsy (Herbert), James (Sheila), Wayne (Myrna), Albert (Grace), Les (Betty), Sheila (Albert), and the late Lloyd. The bond she shared with her siblings was unbreakable, and they will undoubtedly cherish the memories of their time together.

She was a woman with a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Georgina exemplified kindness and generosity throughout her life. In her neighbourhood, all the children adored her as she would always have ice cream ready for them. Her love for others extended beyond her family, and she enjoyed spending time with both family and friends. Georgina had an open-door policy and never locked her door just in case someone might need something when she wasn't there - a true testament to her caring nature.

She hailed from Newfoundland and embraced her roots wholeheartedly. Georgina's vibrant personality shone through in everything she did. Her lively spirit uplifted those around her, leaving lasting impressions wherever she went.

Along Georgina's favorite things were chocolate and red roses. Her favourite roses were the ones planted by her late granddaughter, Jessica. She loved to tell everyone “These were planted by my granddaughter Jessica.”

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Cavill Funeral Home located at 215-1 Bay Street in Gravenhurst, ON. Visitation will take place 12:00-1:00 PM, with the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Mickle Memorial Cemetery. Following the Graveside Service, a gathering in honour of Georgina's life will continue at Gateway Worship Centre with refreshments and fellowship.

Georgina Mabel McCoy will forever be remembered for her kind and nurturing spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will serve as an inspiration for generations to come. Her presence in our lives will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Just 4 Kicks Dance Club in Georgina's memory. We extend our deepest condolences to Georgina's family and friends during this difficult time of loss. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
