Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #302, Gravenhurst. Peacefully at the Champlain Manor in Orillia on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Yvonne Taylor. Beloved father to Phyllis Sue Anne (Phillip) Taylor of Waterloo, Patricia (Frank) Hamer of Gravenhurst, William (Peggy) Taylor of Gravenhurst and Paul (Glenda) Taylor of Gravenhurst and the late Pamela Williams.Survived by son-in-law Fred Williams of Peterborough. Stepfather to Michael Flint (Amy Flint of Georgia). Beloved brother to Ron (Mickey)Taylor and Norman Taylor both of Owen Sound. Ernie was predeceased by his siblings; Dorothy Nuhn, George Taylor and John Breen. Beloved grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 p. m. A Legion Service of remembrance will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 p. m.
