It is with heavy hearts that the Foley family announces the passing of their mother Emily Foley on March 21, 2017 at Granite Ridge Retirement Home in Gravenhurst, Ont., in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Henry Foley who predeceased Emily in 1978. Beloved mother to Frederick (France) Foley of Dinard, France, Linda (Gary) Madryga of Uxbridge and Peter (Sue) Foley of Gravenhurst. Emily was predeceased by her siblings James, Terrance and Joseph. Beloved grandmother to Christopher, Joshua, Joanna, Lyndsay, Tyler, Emily and Hayden. Great grandmother to Aurora, Declan and Natalie. In keeping with Mrs. Foley's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel.
