McEWAN, Elsie Lois Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6th, 2014 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Tommy McEwan. Loving mother of Robert Charles (Donna) McEwan, Sandra (Dave) Dann and Dixie and her late husband Ivan Scott. Affectionately known as Granny, Elsie will be remembered by her grandchildren; Brook, Todd (Lara), Ryan, Blair, Scott (Andrea) and Jason (Lee) also by her 16 great-grandchildren and her 3 great-great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her grandson Darin. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10th, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 11th, 2014 at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Gravenhurst Salvation Army.
