Barnes, Elroy Gilbert Peacefully in the quiet of his home in Gravenhurst with his beloved wife Nancy and his son Jefferey at his side on Thursday, November 7, 2013. Elroy Gilbert Barnes in his 74th year. Father to Darlene (Stephen) Horton of Cold Lake, Alberta and Jefferey Barnes of Gravenhurst. Elroy is prerdeceased by his two sons Darrell and James Barnes. Beloved brother to Glenn (Linda) Barnes, Erel (Darlene) Barnes, Dianne Fitchett (late Ken), Ellen Barnes, Bill (Rhonda) Barnes, all of Gravenhurst and Ruth (Ken) Scorizzi of Toronto and Shirley Sallows of Coldwater. Elroy is predeceased by his siblings; Nela Parker, Wilma Strength, Henry Barnes, John Barnes, Meryl Barnes and Margaret Ketch. Beloved grandfather to Courtney, Rachelle and Joshua Horton and Dennis Foley. Great grandfather to Jessica, Kassidy, Kaleb, John, James & Leiy. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Gravenhurst Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Branch #302 on Monday November 25, 2013 from 3:00 until 6:00 p. m.
