E. Ruth Searle

Born December 14, 1938, in Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully, on April 21, 2025, in Gravenhurst, Ontario.

Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Sandi Rittershaus (Jost), Jeff MacCrae (Mary Jo), and David MacCrae; six grandchildren, Scott (Robyn) Rittershaus, Katy (Jeff) Falco, Nicole MacCrae (Matt McLaughlin), Dylan MacCrae, Kyle MacCrae, and Jacob MacCrae; step-granddaughter Sheena Botelho (Dustin Smith) and five great-grandsons. She will be fondly remembered by dear friends, Shirley and Barb. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Edward Searle (2010); and her former husband, Vernon MacCrae (Mac - 2014).

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at The Alexander Muskoka Residence for the kindness and exceptional care shown to Ruth during her time there.

A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at a later date this summer.
