THORNE, Dorothy Marie (nee Kuhl) Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Monday December 17, 2012. Dorothy Marie Thorne in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph William Thorne who predeceased Dorothy in 1997. Beloved mother to William (Angela) Thorne of Cranbrook, B. C., Robert (Yvonne) Thorne of Brampton and Sharon Majik of Etobicoke. Dorothy is predeceased by a son Ernest Joseph Thorne. Beloved sister to: Lila Lehman, Joyce Lemay and the late Emma Millward, Jerome Kuhl, Marion Lafont and Edna Bliss. Loving grandmother to Alexis Thorne, Katherine Savoy, Andrew Thorne, Jeffery Thorne, Andrew David Majik, Micheal Majik and Daniel Majik. Loving great grandmother to Leila Thorne and Anabelle Thorne. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday December 21, 2012 from 7-9 p. m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 22, 2012 at 2:00 p. m. Spring interment will take place at the Emsdale United Church Cemetery, Emsdale, Ont. In memory of Dorothy, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
