TURNER, Donald William (Don) Owner/Operator of Northern Lakes Masonry-Kilworthy It is with great sadness that the Turner family announces the passing of Donald William Turner at Muskoka Shores Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Donald was the much loved husband to Bella Elizabeth Turner (nee Thibeault) of Kilworthy. Much loved and adored father to Theresa Mondelli of Caledon and Don Jr. (Nicole) Turner of Gravenhurst, late David Turner of Gravenhurst, Darlene Turner (George Neubrand) of Kilworthy, Wayne Turner (late Shirley) of Kilworthy and Emily Hart (Gary) of Victoria Harbour. Donald will be missed by his step children John Crossley (Robin) of Ransonville, N.Y., Vincent Crossley (Karen) of Nashville, Guy Crossley of Arizona, Karen Crossley of Barrie, Richard Crossley (Lisa) of Los Vegas, Linda Crossley of Barrie, Brian Bereaube (Maria) of Jamestown, Tom Wacht (Brenda) of Niagara Falls, New York and Al Wacht (Felise) of Hollywood, Florida. Donald was predeceased by his siblings; Stanley Cromwell and Gary Turner. Loving grandfather to twelve grandchildren, step grandfather to seventeen and great grandfather to twenty-four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. A service to celebrate the life of Donald William Turner will be held in the chapel at 12 noon. In keeping with Mr. Turner's wishes, cremation has taken place. If so desired, donations in memory of Donald Turner may be directed to either the Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka or to the Diabetes Association.
