McKinney, Donald Edward Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Saturday, February 15, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Donald Edward McKinney in his 78th year. Beloved husband to Barbara "Diane" McKinney (nee Flynn) of Kilworthy. Beloved father to; James (Michelle) McKinney of Barrie, Kate McKinney of Gravenhurst, Melanie (Darren) Sanderson of Kilworthy, Brian Barnes of Gravenhurst and Sherri Barnes of Collingwood. Don is survived by his siblings; Jean (Sam) Johnston, Wendy (late Peter) Gardner, Barb (Mervin) Muriwski, Pat (Jim) Baverstock , Ken (Glenna) McKinney and Helen (Dougal) Cullum. He is predeceased by his brother Jim (Pat) McKinney and by his sisters Kay (Charlie) Van Mierlo, Irene (late Bud) Thiebeault. and by infant brother Bobby. Proud grandpa to Lenny, Hope, Eva, Tiffany, Jenna, Star, Austin, Brittany, Roxanne and Alec. Great grandfather to Leigha. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 11:00 until 1: 00 p. m.
