Dianne Christina Rees
December 23, 1963 – June 29, 2021
Heaven has gained an angel while those closest to Dianne are feeling a great loss today and will for sometime to come.
Dianne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday June 29, 2021.
A strong, independent woman, her determination and stubbornness were also well-known family traits. While Dianne spent most of her adult life in and around Gravenhurst and Muskoka, she also spent time in northern and southern Ontario.
Although Dianne started her career as a hair stylist and entrepreneur forty (40) years ago, her true passion and love of helping others was a very high priority and long term goal of hers. Her education and experience in nutrition and natural healing therapies allowed her an exceptional opportunity to help so many others in healing and living life to the fullest at their happiest, often putting her needs behind those of others.
Through the challenges she faced over the past four (4) years, her drive and determination and well-known stubbornness helped push her to limits beyond what most would want or be able to endure.
Dianne will be forever remembered and missed by her much loved partner and soulmate David Loucks and her best friend and companion service dog Shaman.
Predeceased by her father and fishing partner Donald Rees, October 25, 2014, she is survived by her sister Deborah, brother Douglas, mother Doris, niece Dayna, Aunts, Uncles and many cousins.
She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her Special Friends who know who they are.
Oh my, you should have seen the day
I walked through Heaven's Gate
The Angels sounded warning
They hoped I'd be coming late
They thought the next arrival
Would be loving, meek, and mild
They didn't quite expect
That I'd be crazy, fun, and wild
I shook things up right from the start
Arriving with a dance
I strutted into Heaven's arms
With such a sexy stance
I gave an Angel there a twirl
And shared a big High Five
I jogged right up to God
You know, Our God can really Jive
Some others there were having fun
So I thought I'd join in
We caused quite a big ruckus
And the Angels had to Grin
Don't worry, it's not boring here
Since I arrived that day
I keep the Angels on their toes
In my sweet sassy way
I'll be hanging out in Heaven
Hosting parties having fun
So don't worry about me there
Your life has only just begun
Someday you'll come to Heaven
When your journey there is through
And I'll line the Angels up
So we can have a Strut for you
