Dennis Edward Duffy

Dennis Edward Duffy, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and stepfather, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023, at Andy's House Hospice Muskoka in Port Carling, ON. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he embarked on his journey to eternal peace. Dennis was born on April 9, 1952, in the beautiful town of Weston, ON. 

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Claudia Gerard; together they created a bond built on trust, love, and shared experiences that will endure forever. Dennis's brother George Duffy and wife Charlotte were an essential part of his life, providing unwavering support and a strong familial bond. His nephew Russell Duffy and wife Amy also held a special place in his heart, sharing countless memories and treasured moments. Dennis welcomed Ernest John Gerard into his life with open arms, embracing the role of a devoted stepfather.

Dennis led a fulfilling life that revolved around his passion for trucks and the open road. As a dedicated truck driver, he traversed countless miles across Canada and the US, delivering goods with utmost diligence and commitment. His expertise in the field earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers. Dennis valued hard work and reliability above all else, qualities that were evident in aspect of his life.

Outside of work, Dennis found solace and joy in his hobbies and he had an unwavering love for old classic cars and was an active member of numerous car clubs. His knowledge and enthusiasm for vintage automobiles were boundless; he could effortlessly identify make and model from any era with remarkable precision. Dennis's appreciation for bygone eras extended to his love for 50's music. It was not uncommon to find him humming along to his favorite tunes with a smile on his face.

Dennis will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for his warm heart and kind soul. He touched the lives of many with his genuine compassion and unwavering support.
