Everest, Curtis Melvin It is with great sadness that the Everest family announces the passing of Curtis Melvin Everest on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge. Curtis Melvin Everest in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 54 years to Christine (Chris) Elizabeth Everest (nee Cator) of Gravenhurst. Beloved father to Darren Everest (Connie Meeks) of Gravenhurst and Debbie (Brad) Hill of Stoney Creek. Beloved brother to Douglas of London, Ont., and Harold of North Bay. Curtis is predeceased by his siblings: Dorothea, Alfred, Reg, Cecil and Jessie. Much loved G'pa to Kaila, Janine and Clinton and special Papa to Jonnica and Sheridan. Curtis will be missed by Eric and Amy. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday November 23, 2012 from 1-3 p. m. and 7-9 p. m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 191 Hotchkiss St., Gravenhurst on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a. m. Cremation has taken place. In memory of Curtis, donations to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Rev. Tom Cunningham officiating.
