LEWIS, Christopher Todd

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Christopher Todd Lewis announce his passing on Monday, January 18, 2021, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge, after a courageous battle with cancer, age of 52. Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie, children Jonathan (Isabella) and Jessica (Zachary), and parents Allan and Patricia.

Chris was born on November 7, 1968 in Toronto, Ontario but made Gravenhurst, Ontario his home. He is remembered for being a leader in the local community, serving as an active member of the Gravenhurst Lions Club for over twenty-two years and as a general manager for McDonald’s in Gravenhurst and Muskoka for over thirty-five years.

Chris’ passion for volunteerism and community support goes beyond local impact. He spent every possible moment supporting Lions Clubs internationally by training leaders in Clubs from around the world, inspiring them to cast positive shadows within their own communities.

A service of Celebration of Chris’ life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made directly to the two organizations Chris heavily supported and advocated for throughout his entire life: Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Lions Clubs International Fund.
