Cheryl Lee Greenwood (Green)

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Cheryl was born on January 29, 1961 in Bracebridge Ontario.  Cheryl passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with family by her side, on January 22, 2021. She was in her 60th year. Cheryl was the beloved wife of Len Greenwood for 25 years. Loving mother of Sarah (Josiah) and Joey (Kristen). Cherished Grandmother to Wyatt, River and Grayson. Loved daughter of Larry Green (Ivana) and the late Dorothy Green. Dear Sister of Brad (Cindy) and loving Aunt to Dee Green.

She will be missed by her loving fur babies Dollie, Georgie and the late Dottie.

Cheryl pursued a career she loved as an Educational Assistant. She touched the lives of many children and loved the time she was able to spend with each and every one of them. Cheryl enjoyed travelling, watching her favourite TV shows with Len, swimming at the boat house, trips to Sunny Lake, her Wednesday BINGO nights with friends, shopping sprees and quiet family dinners at home.

Cheryl was a strong and determined woman with the heart of a warrior. She was also a guardian to everyone in her life. There was no battle she wouldn’t fight for the happiness of her family and friends. Cheryl would smile, even when she was sad. She was the true definition of a strong woman.

We would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Wynott, her loving nurse Shannon and all of the doctors and nurses that were there to care for Cheryl during her illness.

Services will be held at a later date.
