REID, Bruce Alan Former owner of Laycock's Drycleaners and recently completed his National Certification as a member of the Professional Bookkeepers Association Suddenly at his home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at the age of 78. Beloved husband to Bonnie Reid (nee Laycock) for 53 years. Loving father of Heather (Vinny) Fischetti of Pittsburgh, David (Sheri) Reid of Gravenhurst and Brent (Carrie) Reid of Bracebridge. Cherished grandfather of Jessica (Tim) McBee and Michael Doucette both of Pittsburgh, Alissa and Devon Reid both of Gravenhurst, Meagan Schell of Gravenhurst and Jodie Schell of Bracebridge. Beloved Papa of Ava McBee of Pittsburgh. Dear brother of Don Reid, brother-in-law to Bud Chauvin. Bruce will be missed by his grand dog; Willie of Bracebridge.Pre-deceased by his parents Charles and Violet Reid and siblings; Ron (Agatha) Reid and Evelyn (Chick) Brundritt and Elizabeth Chauvin. In keeping with Bruce's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst on Sunday, March 6th, 2016 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Gravenhurst.
