Berta Keck

Berta, affectionately known as Bertl It is with deep sadness & a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mom. Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario in her 92nd year, on Thursday, July 17, 2014 with her loving daughter Connie Keck & her loving son-in-law Wayne McNichol at her side. Beloved wife of the late Karl Keck who predeceased Bertl in 2012. Bertl is predeceased by her parents Ludwig & Elisabeth Weisert & by her siblings & their spouses; Ludwig (Liesel) Weisert & Lina (Walter) Deichmann both of Karlsruhe, Germany. Amazing Tante to Rolf (Selma), Fritz (Gaby), Walter (Ursula), Ingrid (Dieter) & Uwe and all of their children. Much loved Omi to Dale (Sara), Darrin (Sarah) and Damien (Erica). Very special Oma to Max. VISITATION AND MEMORIAL SERVICE A gathering for family and friends to celebrate the life of Bertl Keck will be held at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Bertl, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
