It is with heavy hearts that the Smith family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Barbara Lynne Smith at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Friday, December 1, 2017. Barbara Lynne Smith (nee Bowen) 76 years of age. Barbara was the beloved wife of Henry "Hank" Smith of Gravenhurst. Much loved mother to Kimberley Smith (Peter de Graaf) of Bracebridge, Scott Smith (Sarah Bristow) of Wakefield, Quebec and Alison Smith (Scott Schumacher) of Livingston, Montana. Proud grandmother to Abigail and Kate de Graaf, Winter and Hudson Smith and Oliver Bowen Schumacher. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 p. m. Immediately following the service, all are welcome to join the Smith family at the Muskoka Discovery Centre (Grace & Speed) for refreshments and an opportunity to visit and share memories. Arrangements entrusted to the Cavill-Turner Home, Gravenhurst.
