Barbara Jean Estella Dewasha

Barbara Jean Estella Dewasha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, ON. She was the loving mother of Phil Dewasha (Jody), cherished grandmother to Nadia and Curtis, who brought light and laughter into her life. Barbara was the loving sister of Lois Jennings (late Chuck), late Alvin, and Mervin (late Gayle). Dear aunt to Rick, Terry, Elaine, Jennifer, late Michael, and Robert.

Barbara's passions were as pure and beautiful as her heart. She found solace and joy in spending time with her beloved pets - dogs Karma and Sofie, and her cat. Among her hobbies and interests were her love for horses, crafting intricate pieces through beading and knitting, as well as finding peace in solving puzzles. She preferred a quiet and peaceful existence, finding comfort within the walls of her home and in nature.

Barbara's kind spirit touched the lives of many around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A memorial service in her honour will be held at Wahta in late August and will be posted once finalized.

 May Barbara rest in eternal peace knowing she was loved dearly by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her during her lifetime.
