MIDDLEBROOKS, Avis Margaret (nee Fratson) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Leisureworld Muskoka in Gravenhurst in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John Middlebrooks of Gravenhurst. Loving mother to Danny (Toni) Middlebrooks of California, Janice (John) Smith of Bracebridge, Rosalee (Paul) Schofield of Gravenhurst, Lori (Doug) Lippert of Barrie and Patti (Dave) Lyons of Huntsville. Much loved grandmother to Susan Smith of Bracebridge, Kim (Eric) McKenzie of Bracebridge, Derek (Rhonda) Schofield of Gravenhurst, Laura (Kurt) Robertson of Oakville, Emma and Kienan Lippert of Barrie, Rachael King of Huntsville and Annie Lyons of Oakville. Great grandmother to Kirsten, Kaitlyn, Todd, Amy, Paige and Charlotte. Cherished sister to Lorna and dear sister-in-law to Mildred. Pre-deceased by her sister Wilma. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst. The service will be held at 12:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or to the Residents Council at Leisureworld Muskoka.
