Aubrey Barnes

It is with great sadness that the Barnes family announces the passing of Aubrey Henry Bruce Barnes at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Aubrey Barnes at 69years of age. He will be forever loved and missed by Maryann (Casey), Sara, Scott, Faith, Grace, T.J. and Harmony. Beloved brother to Elva Rayner, Carole Foley, Janie Bradford (Bill Cannon) and Pat Cousins all of Gravenhurst, Roger Barnes (Irene) of Orillia and Debra Wickett (Thomas Ryan) of Newfoundland. Survived by his sister-in-law Merilan. Aubrey was predeceased by his brothers Roy and Marvin Barnes and his brothers-in-law Gerald Rayner, Les Foley and Fred Cousins. Aubrey will be especially missed by his faithful four legged companions Tinkerbell and Lucky and by his many friends and family members. In keeping with Mr. Barnes' wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Gravenhurst from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Donations to the Lung Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
