Beloved husband to Muriel Sopher (nee Wilson) of Gravenhurst. Arnold was predeceased by his first wife EdithEieen Sopher (nee Schell) in 1986. Beloved father to Sheldon Sopher of Waubaushene and Shirley Petch (late Winston) of Chatham. Predeceased by infant son Elgin in 1943. Much loved grandfather to Cathy Weldon (Craig) of Chatham, Sylvia Bee (Darcy) of Gravenhurst and Darren Sopher (Stephanie) of Whitby. Beloved brother to Joyce (late John) Middlebrooks of P.E. I. and Clarence (Marie) Sopher of Gravenhurst. Great grandfather to Alex, Devlin, Joshua, Hannah, Logan, Liam and Justice. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p. m. Interment will follow at Symington Cemetery, Kilworthy. Pastor Sterling Cooper officiating. In memory of Mr. Sopher, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
