Having a vibrant personality and an outgoing nature, Anne Marie brought joy into the lives of everyone around her. Her passion for gardening was evident as she nurtured beautiful beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, and rhubarb in her backyard. She found solace in getting her hands dirty and watching nature's miracles unfold before her eyes. Additionally, Anne Marie actively participated in programs with the Wahta Mohawks community. She treasured spending time with the Wahta Mohawk senior ladies and cherished every minute she had with them.
Dancing was one of Anne Marie's greatest pleasures. With music flowing through her veins, she eagerly embraced any opportunity to dance with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. Anne Marie loved spending time with family, whether it was heading up north to visit relatives or embarking on adventures to pick blueberries.
Michael fondly remembers: "Mom was so mad at me one time when I was younger, she was chasing me around the house on Musquash Road and the only way I could stop her was to hold my hand on her forehead and she was swinging with all her might but couldn't connect. Our shared love of baseball, picking me up when she was done work. Mom would always say yes, even if Dad said no".
Lisa remembers: "Anne was my other mother; always supportive, kind and caring. My favourite memories are when she and I would attend the wellness conferences and we shared great times".
