Almer Robert Barnes Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Monday, August 25, 2014, in his 87th year, with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband to Edna Maud Barnes (nee Davidson) of Gravenhurst. Loving father to Robert (Linda) of Gravenhurst, Paul (Cathy) of Gravenhurst and Pauline Kilduff (Pastor Brian) of South Korea. Dear brother to Hazel Peacock, Stanley Barnes and Donald Barnes. Predeceased by his sisters Gladys Pallister and Pearl Turner and by his brothers Jack and Ken Barnes and by his infant sisters Evelyn and Hannah Barnes. Much loved grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 11 and great great grandfather of 2. The family will receive friends at the Cavill - Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mickle Memorial Cemetery, Gravenhurst. Memorial gifts to the Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
