Washington, Alice Annie Dent Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Wednesday August 8, 2012 in her 94th year. Alice Annie Dent (nee Bloomfield) beloved wife of the late Albert George Washington. Dear mother to Marlene Joan (Maurice) Cole of Deep River, and Robert (Karen) Washington of Oshawa. Alice is predeceased by her siblings; George and William Bloomfield, Margaret Edwards, Gwen Armstrong and Mabel Bjerknes. She was the beloved grandmother to Malcolm Cole, Marilee, Margaret Booth, Lynn Ashmore, Greg Washington and Cindy Washington. Great grandmother to seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday August 10, 2012 from 2-4 p. m. and on Saturday from 1-2 P. M. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday August 11, 2012 at 2:00 p. m. Interment to follow at Mickle Memorial Cemetery (Legion Section). In memory of Alice donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
