Cathy McNeice

Cathy has been a licenced funeral director since 1981. After completing her apprenticeship with the Paul O’Connor Funeral Home in Scarborough she returned home to Gravenhurst to work along side her father until his passing in 1984.

Raised in Gravenhurst from the age of 9, Cathy is no stranger to the many people she serves at the Cavill Funeral Home.  Cathy is married to husband Tom McNeice (supervisor for the cemeteries with the Town of Gravenhurst) for over 24 years.

Greg Way

Greg has been a licenced funeral director since 1978. Greg completed his apprenticeship at the Ward Funeral Home in Weston under the direction of Joe Kralovic.

Greg is truly a localboy, growing up and working in his home town of Gravenhurst.  Greg has been with the W. J. Cavill Funeral Home since 1975 and he too is no stranger to the many families he serves.   Greg has been married to his wife Donna for over 30 years and they have a grown daughter.

Peter Denys

Peter is a recent staff addition to the W. J. Cavill Funeral Home who came to Gravenhurst in 2008. He obtained his funeral directors licence from Humber College in 1981 and has worked most of his career in St. Catharines.

Needing a change, Peter relocated to Gravenhurst and brings with him the experiences of working in a large centre. Since relocating to Gravenhurst in mid October Peter is looking forward to the great Muskoka summers that everyone talks about.

Kathleen Brock

Kathleen Brock joined the staff of the W. J. Cavill Funeral Home March 2007, as an office assistant. Kathleen enjoys greeting the public from the telephone inquiries to greeting families during their difficult time.  Kathleen has worked with the public for many years and brings many transferrable skills to the daily operations at the funeral home.

Kathleen is very proud of her father’s family heritage in the town of Gravenhurst, dating back to the early pioneers in forming the town (Clipsham Carriage Works & Clipsham Hardware).  Kathleen has two grown sons David & Joe.
