What is
Pre-Planning:
Pre-planning is planning & arranging a funeral before the need arises.
The
purpose of preplanning is to eliminate concerns and worries with
making funeral arrangements at the time a death has taken place.
Pre-planning eliminates putting financial burdens on survivors and in
some cases, it can eliminate friction between relatives and surviving
family members.
Pre-planning allows family members to partake in the arrangements by
sharing ideas and concerns in a relaxed environment of the funeral
home office, or the comfort and familiarity of the family home. It is
at this time discussions regarding different services can be explained
with out a time frame involved. Pre-Planning lessens the burden
placed on existing family members or friends.
When
pre-planning, your plans are in writing. Every detail is carefully
attended to, so there should be no doubt about your wishes. Family
members never have to worry about what to do, or if they have chosen
the appropriate kind of services that they think you would have chosen
for yourself. Every detail is carefully recorded and kept in safe-
keeping at the Cavill Funeral Home.
When
the death takes place of someone who has pre-planned their services,
it is simply one phone call to the funeral home that all the
arrangements and wishes will be put into place.
Pre-Paying
for Pre-Planned Services:
Some
people chose to pre-pay for the pre-planned services. This can
be completed as well. It can be completed in one time payment or in
monthly payments over the course of time, which ever is most
convenient for the person looking after the finances.
We
encourage you to find out more about the pre-planning options by
contacting the
W. J. Cavill Funeral Home. A licenced funeral director
will be pleased to meet you at your convenience to discuss the
various service options.
