Condolence From: Dr, Ardyn Todd
Condolence: I was very saddened to read of Wayne's death. He was a wonderfully caring gentle man who really did put others first. He was always more interested in the welfare of others before his own. My sincere condolences to his family in this time of sorrow.I felt it was my privilege to have known him.

Condolence From: Don Dalziel
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Forsythe family. Wayne was a very interesting person who always had time for friends. I had the opportunity to play ball and hockey with him while he lived in Nobleton. He was an outstanding umpire.
I greatly appreciated his friendship and always enjoyed discussing our common interest in sports. He was a special guy and I am very appreciative to have known him.

My thoughts are with you, during your grief.

Condolence: The beauty of living in a small town is having the opportunity to get to know people better. Having just come from the Legion to celebrate Wayne, pretty much all of Gravenhurst was there being a testament to Wayne's legacy. I thought I held it together pretty well until I talked to Cherie, so beautiful in her thoughts of dad. I was glad it rained on my way out to hide my tears. Yet, on the drive home remembering Wayne, I couldn't contain the smile and that's the best legacy. Some people we'll just never forget.

Condolence: Our condolences to the Forsythe Family. Having grown up in Gravenhurst and enjoyed sports it would be difficult to not have seen Wayne play ball or hockey. I did not know him as well as the many other people who have expressed their thoughts and memories about his life. I did know him to be a gentleman, easy to talk to and a guy you would like to spend time with. A wiser person than me when asked about a particular family simply said "they are good people".

That would describe The Forsythe Family, and Wayne.

Condolence: We as family were very saddened to learn of Wayne's death. Small towns produce some very remarkable and memorable people and for Gravenhurst, Wayne was one of those very special individuals. Wayne cared so much about people and we believe counted everyone he came into contact with as a friend - whether they were team mates, youth athletes, co-workers or acquaintances. I played hockey with Wayne but he was much, much more than a sports "guy" - Wayne always made you feel like you really mattered to him and that can not be said for many of us. Whether it was the Bracebridge Hawks, Coon Bros Ladies Fastball or just good chats, we are very lucky to have those memories.

Hal, Judy & Gillian Humphries

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I remember Wayne from summers at the ball diamond and winters in the arena. A great man and he will be missed by all who knew him. Wayne always had a smile, a friendly hello and would take the time to stop and chat. Our condolences to the family.
